Mediation is a natural extension of many years of experience as a negotiator and dispute resolver.  A successful negotiation is rarely won simply by taking the toughest stance and should start with the careful management of the client's (or one’s own) expectations. A skilled negotiator shows respect for their opponent, a willingness to consider alternative views and a preparedness to be flexible.

With a good ear for listening, natural empathy and good intuition, she seeks to unravel the real issues that drive a dispute by focussed and targeted questioning, before helping the parties to find their solution.
